2024 LAAR Scholarship

The Longview Area Association of REALTORS® established their scholarship fund in 2008. A Scholarship Committee made up of the association’s REALTOR® and Affiliate members will be responsible for reviewing all scholarship applications. The selection of the scholarship recipients will be based on the content and completeness of replies, as well as school and community involvement.  The decision of the Scholarship Committee is final. This program may be revoked or terminated at any time at the sole discretion of the Board of Directors of the Longview Area Association of REALTORS®.

The Purpose of this scholarship is to assist individuals wishing to further their education. The applicants must be in pursuit of a degree or certification from a College, University or Technical Institute in any field. Scholarships will be awarded to a minimum of 5 students and each recipient will receive a $1,000 scholarship. Funds will be dispersed to the school you are enrolled in during the Fall Semester of the first year of college. Those funds will be disbursed following our receipt of proof of enrollment in a minimum of 12 hours in the semester system (8 hours in the quarter system) for the fall semester.
